A new day, a new life. ⚘ This photograph was taken by me, just outside my apartment, when I lived next door to my best friend Marianne. During this time in my life I often opened my home and invited people over to photograph them. These two beautiful sisters, Lejonhjärta were among those who stepped into that world for a moment, they stood in the soft light outside my home & allowed themselves to be seen through my lens. There was something so gentle in those meetings, in the trust & the stillness between frames. My photographs are like the traces of brief crossings, like two journeys brushing against each other, then quietly slipping away again. Yet living on in my photographs. A new day, a new life but these moments remain, like small pieces of time that never disappear from my heart. ⚘
